Dear Families,
Please note we will be closed on Tuesday, September 30th for National Truth & Reconciliation Day. We are open for care Mon, Sept 29th. Our programs will communicate that we will be having an Orange Shirt Day on either Fri, Sept 26th or Mon, Sept 29th. For this day we will talk about kindness and what it means to be apart of and uplift our community.
We would also like to take a moment to acknowledge with respect and gratitude that we work, learn, live, and play on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples including the Katzie, Kwantlen, and Semiahmoo First Nations.
As an early learning community, we recognize the importance of teaching children about respect, gratitude, and connection to the land. By sharing stories, exploring nature, and honouring Indigenous perspectives, we nurture in children a sense of belonging and responsibility to care for the world around them.
